Why Mental Health First Aid?
Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. This training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
Participants will attend an In-person (2nd Edition) –Learners receive their training during a 8-8.5 hour, Instructor-led, in-person session

The In Person Instructor led portion of this course will be held on Saturday, May 20th from 8:00am - 5:00pm at Elgin Township at 729 S McLean Blvd, Elgin, IL 60123
